Circle guide shoe will drop when bolts are removed ifnot properly secured.
Failure to follow thiswarning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Circle guide shoe weighs approximately 30 lb (14 kg).
Remove and inspect each circle guide shoe wearstrip one at a time.
This procedure is for removing and inspecting one guide shoe. The procedure to remove
each guide shoe is the same.
1. With assistance, remove three bolts (Figure 1, Item 4), washers (Figure 1, Item 5), and circle guide shoe
(Figure 1, Item 2) from drawbar (Figure 1, Item 1).
2. Remove wearstrip (Figure 1, Item 3) from circle guide shoe (Figure 1, Item 2).
3. Repeat steps for remaining circle guide shoes.
