8. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position (TM 5-3805-293-10).
9. With an assistant, monitor and record the digital multimeter and measure voltage between starter positive
cable (Figure 2, Item 6) from the starter solenoid and ground while cranking the engine.
a. If voltage is less than voltage given in Table 1, replace positive battery cable to starter solenoid (WP 0195),
then proceed to step b.
b. Repeat Electric Starting System Test. If voltage remains less than voltage given in Table 1, replace starter
motor (WP 0099).
