8. Disconnect fuel prime pump harness connector FE-C4 (Figure 14, Item 4) from fuel prime pump (Figure 14,
Item 1).

9. Activate fuel transfer pump, refer to Fuel Pump Relay Command Override steps 1 through 6 in this work
package.
10. Using a digital multimeter, probe fuel prime pump control circuit A893-OR for voltage between prime pump
harness connector FE-C4 terminal 1 (Figure 14, Item 3) and ground. Voltage should be between 18-26 volts
DC.
a. Voltage OK - Proceed to step 11.
b. Voltage NOT OK - Proceed to Test Step 4.
11. Select Disable Override button at bottom of screen to deactivate the fuel transfer pump.

12. Activate fuel transfer pump, refer to Fuel Pump Relay Command Override steps 1 through 6 in this work
package.
13. Using a digital multimeter, measure for voltage between harness connector FE-C4 terminal 1 (Figure 14,
Item 3) and terminal 2 (Figure 14, Item 2). Voltage should be between 18-26 volts DC.
a. Voltage OK - Fuel pump is faulty, replace primary fuel filter base (WP 0174).
b. Voltage NOT OK - Proceed to step 14.
