22. Put identification on the cables for the electric
starting motor. Remove cables (30) and wiring
harness (31) from the engine.
23. Fasten a hoist to the engine and remove the
twelve bolts (32) used to fasten the engine to
transmission adapter.
24. Remove the four bolts that hold the engine
front support to the frame. Remove the shims
(33) from under the front support. Remove
engine. The weight of the engine is 1500 lb.
(675 kg).
CAUTION
Keep the shims that are between the engine front
support and the frame in their correct relationship
with the engine front support for use during in-
stallation.
