DRIVING THE REAR FRAME
NOTE
Operation of this equipment presents a noise
hazard to personnel in limits for unprotected
personnel. Wear ear muffs or plugs which
were fitted by a trained professional.
Remote control operation is easily accomplished by one
person. A second is needed to aid in starting and
aligning the frames for reassembly.
NOTE
The back-up alarm should sound when the transmission
direction lever is placed in reverse (R).
1.
Turn the battery disconnect switch "ON." Move
the throttle to the low idle position. Start the
engine. The ether starting aid may be required
in cold weather conditions.
WARNING
Stop the unit immediately if the "LOW AIR"
indicator should light. Determine the source
of the problem and correct before continuing
operation. The "LOW AIR" light will come on
momentarily while
WARNING
Never shift to any gear higher than "1st GEAR".

Shift the transmission to "1st GEAR."
3.
Move the transmission directional control to the
desired direction.
4.
Move the differential lock switch to OFF. Push
the emergency brake control.
5.
Engage the clutch gradually by rotating the cable
control. Stop additional clutch engagement
when the engine starts to lug.
6.
Release the service brakes with the button on
the steering control.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when operating with the
remote control. Be ready at all times to
release the steering control button and pull
the emergency brake control if a dangerous
situation should occur.
7.
When moving the machine in the forward
direction, pulling the steering control toward you
will turn the machine toward you (LEFT TURN).
Pushing the steering control away from you will
turn the machine away from you (RIGHT TURN).
Operating the machine in the reverse direction
will reverse the turn direction for the same
steering control movement. If the terrain and
ground condition dictate, move the differential
lock switch to "ON" to drive straight with all four
wheels driving. Do not steer with the switch
"ON."
NOTE
Additional clutch engagement may be required
to slide the wheels when turning, depending
on ground conditions.
8.
Move the unit as required.
NOTE
Releasing the button on the steering control
will apply the service brakes and stop the
machine.
9.
To stop and park the unit, release the steering
control button, carefully disengage the clutch,
set the emergency brake, shift to neutral, close
the throttle to stop the engine and turn the
battery disconnect switch to "OFF."
