Install hub (76), new seal ring (75), transfer gear (74) and eight bolts (73). 8. Turn over items 84 thru 73 as an assembly (Figure 14-19). 9. Apply a thin coat of engine oil SAE 10 to six plates (72) and discs (71). 10. Install six plates (72), discs (71), springs (70) and plate (69). NOTE Piston clutch fits over seal rings on shaft. Seal rings must be in a center position on shaft before drum gear can be installed. 11. Install piston clutch (68) on shaft (84). Make sure groove slot in piston clutch (68) is alined with dowel pin (82) on shaft (84, Figure 14-22). 12. Install new seal ring (66) and new preformed packing (67) on plate (65). 13. Install plate (65) on shaft (84). Make sure groove slot in plate (65) is alined with dowel pin (82) on shaft (84). 14. Heat roller bearing (64) in engine oil SAE 30 to temperature of 275 degrees F. 15. Install roller bearing (64) and spacer (59) on shaft (84). Go to Sheet 13 Figure 14-20. Figure 14-19.
