Remove spacer (51, Figure 16-14).NOTESeparation of frames is notpossible until spacer hasbeen removed.All hose and tube assembliesmust be tagged beforedisconnecting to aid ininstallation. Cap all hoseand tube ends and plug allopen hydraulic ports toprevent contamination.26. Disconnect hose (52, Figure16-15) and apply shop air supplyline to elbow on parking brakeactuator.27. Release parking brake by applyingair pressure to parking brakeactuator.28. Separate rear frame (53) fromfront frame (54) by moving rearframe (53, Figure 16-16) rearwardwith forklift.29. Install jack stands underradiator end of rear frame andremove forklift.30. Remove shop air supply line.CLEANINGClean all parts. Refer to Chapter 2.INSPECTIONInspect all parts.
