N OT E
Lift arm weighs 75 lb (34 kg).
The procedure for lift arm removal and replacement is identical for left and right lift arms.
Left lift arm is shown in this procedure.
12. Remove two locknuts (Figure 5, Item 6), washers (Figure 5, Item 5), and bolts (Figure 5, Item 3) from lift arm
(Figure 5, Item 2). Discard locknuts.
N OT E
Clean dirt and paint from shaft prior to removing lift arm and bracket.
13. Insert chisel into lift arm (Figure 5, Item 2) to expand shaft opening on lift arm.
14. With assistance, remove lift arm (Figure 5, Item 2) from shaft (Figure 5, Item 1).
15. Remove chisel from lift arm (Figure 5, Item 2).
16. Remove key (Figure 5, Item 4) from shaft (Figure 5, Item 1).
17. With assistance, remove bracket (Figure 5, Item 7) from shaft (Figure 5, Item 1).
N OT E
Note location and number of shims prior to removal to aid in installation.
18. Remove shims (Figure 5, Item 8) from shaft (Figure 5, Item 1).
19. Repeat steps 12 through 18 for right lift arm.
