Lift arm weighs 75 lb (34 kg).
The procedure for lift arm instalation is identical for left and right lift arms. Left arm is
l
shown in this procedure.
N OT E
Install shims as noted at removal.
1. Install shims (Figure 6, Item 8) on shaft (Figure 6, Item 1).
2. With assistance, install bracket (Figure 6, Item 7) on shaft (Figure 6, Item 1).
3. Install key (Figure 6, Item 4) on bracket (Figure 6, Item 1).
4. Apply a light coat of antiseize compound to bracket.
5. Insert chisel into lift arm (Figure 6, Item 2) to expand shaft opening on lift arm.
6. With assistance, install lift arm (Figure 6, Item 2) on bracket (Figure 6, Item 1).
7. Remove chisel from lift arm (Figure 6, Item 2).
8. Install two new locknuts (Figure 6, Item 6), washers (Figure 6, Item 5), and bolts (Figure 6, Item 3) on lift arm
(Figure 6, Item 2).
9. Repeat steps 1 through 8 for right lift arm.
