6. Attach sling and lifting device to lift arm assembly.
7. Remove two bolts (Figure 4, Item 5), washer (Figure 4, Item 6), and clamps (Figure 4, Item 4) from machine
and position hose (Figure 4, Item 7) aside.
8. Remove four locknuts (Figure 4, Item 9), washers (Figure 4, Item 8), bolts (Figure 4, Item 2) and washers
(Figure 4, Item 3) from lift arm assembly (Figure 4, Item 1). Discard locknuts.
9. Repeat steps 2 through 8 for right lift arm assembly.
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and
of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device.
Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Lift arm assembly weighs approximately 400 lb (180 kg).
Reposition sling and lifting device toremove lift arm assembly from machine.
10. Using lifting device, remove lift arm assembly (Figure 4, Item 1) from machine and place on flat surface.
11. Remove sling and lifting device from lift arm assembly.
