Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Blade weighs 2,000 lb (907 kg).
9. Using lifting device, lower blade to the ground.
10. Remove lifting device, slings, and lifting brackets from blade.

Remove outer cotter pins, nuts, and washers from shaft assemblies.
Shaft assembly procedure is identical forleft and right sides. Right side is shown.
11. Remove cotter pin (Figure 3, Item 4), nut (Figure 3, Item 3), washer (Figure 3, Item 2), shaft assembly
(Figure 3, Item 5), and shims (Figure 3, Item 1) from circle assembly (Figure 3, Item 6). Discard cotter pin.
