9. Remove vacuum cap (WP 0221).
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when positioning centershift cylinder. Provide adequate support and
use assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and
of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of centershift cylinder as it is extended into position.
Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
10. Start engine and use machine hydraulics to extend centershift cylinder into position and stop engine (TM 5-
3805-293-10).
11. Install cap insert (Figure 9, Item 2), shim (Figure 9, Item 3), cap (Figure 9, Item 4), washers (Figure 9, Item 5),
and two bolts (Figure 9, Item 6) on centershift cylinder (Figure 9, Item 1).
