Failure to follow these warnings may cause injury or death to personnel.

Wipe area clean around fuel hoses and tubes. Contamination of fuel system could result
in premature failure.
10. Prime fuel system by turning the ignition switch to the ON position (TM 5-3805-293-10).
11. Verify that fuel is flowing from secondary fuel filter base (Figure 22, Item 3).
a. If there is no flow of fuel, replace secondary fuel filter base (WP 0073).
b. If fuel flow is observed, proceed to step 12.
