Put lever assembly (31 ) in position on plate and
install spring (30) as shown in illustration. Tighten
bolt (32).

Install gate plate (33) on console and knob (34) on
lever.

Put alarm (35) in position and install bolt. In stall
the backup alarm switch (36) in bracket.

If necessary make an adjustment of the magnetic
switch as follows: the clearance between the
magnet and the switch is .25 + .06 in. (6.35 +
1.52 mm) as shown in illustration. The dimension
given is when the forward-re verse lever is in the
reverse position and the retaining nuts are tight.
