BLADE SIDESHIFT CYLINDER
REMOVE BLADE SIDESHIFT CYLINDER
1.
Remove the pin that holds rod (1) to bracket (2) on
blade (3).
2.
Move the rod end of the cylinder into the cylinder.
Put blocks (4) in position between rod (1) and
bracket (2).
3.
Move the blade far enough to the right to get access
to the blade sideshift cylinder.
4.
Remove bolts (5) and the washers that hold cylinder
(7) to bracket (6).
5.
Put floor jack (8) in position under the blade
sideshift cylinder.
6.
Disconnect oil line (9) from its location at the head
end of the cylinder. Remove the bolt and the nut
that hold pin (12) to bracket (13). Remove pin (12).
7.
Remove the pins from nuts (11) and (14). Remove
nuts (10), (11) and (14). Remove the washers with
nuts (11) and (14).
8.
Fasten a hoist to bracket (13) and remove it.
Weight is 75 lb. (34 kg).
9.
Pull the cylinder away from the machine enough to
remove oil" line (15) from its location on the rod end
of the cylinder.
10. Fasten a hoist to the cylinder. Remove blade
sideshift cylinder (7). Weight is 130 lb. (59 kg).
