(Sheet 5 of 10)REMOVAL10.Install wire from forcing screwsbehind housing (39) across planetcarrier (29) to keep planetcarrier (29) from falling.11.Position items 16 thru 39 as anassembly on blocks with planetcarrier (29) facing up. Removewire and forcing screws fromhousing (39, Figure 5-133).12.Remove preformed packing (16) andgear (17). Discard preformedpacking (16).Step 13 requires twomechanics. Weight of planetcarrier is 90 lbs. Failureto follow this procedure may‘cause INJURY.
