ENGINE MAINTENANCE.
3-10. Vibration Damper. (Sheet 2 of 2)
REMOVAL
1.
Loosen bolt from front of engine (Figure 3-40).
Do not remove.
WARNING
Vibration damper is under extreme
pressure. Remove carefully. Failure to
follow this procedure may cause INJURY.
If you are injured, seek medical aid
immediately.
2.
Using suitable puller, loosen hub from
crankshaft.
3.
Remove bolt, washer and hub.
CLEANING
Clean all parts. Refer to Chapter 2.
INSPECTION
Inspect all parts. Refer to Chapter 2.
INSTALLATION
1.
Position hub on crankshaft (Figure 3-40).
2.
Install washer and bolt. Tighten bolt to 230 ft-
lb torque. Tap with hammer. Retighten bolt to
230 ft-lb torque.
NOTE
Return 130G Grader to original equipment
condition.
