Ensure that the O-ring and sealing washer are installed correctly, are clean, and are not
damaged.
DO NOT lubricate the O-ring.
Failure to follow these cautions ma result in damage to equipment.

Evacuate as much fuel as possible from the cylinder prior to installing fuel injector.
2. Install new O-ring (Figure 7, Item 3) and new sealing washer (Figure 7, Item 1) on fuel injector (Figure 7,
Item 2).

3. Install fuel injector (Figure 8, Item 2), clamp (Figure 8, Item 4), and new torx screw (Figure 8, Item 3) on
cylinder head. Ensure fuel injector is pushed firmly against seat in cylinder head. Finger tighten torx screw.
4. Install two electrical connectors (Figure 8, Item 1) on fuel injector (Figure 8, Item 2). Tighten electrical
connectors to 21 lb-in. (2.4 Nm).
