Valves are fully closed when rocker arm is in the full up position.
3. Manually rotate engine (WP 0032) until valves (Figure 2, Item 1) for cylinder of the injector being replaced are
fully closed.
4. Loosen nuts (Figure 2, Item 3) until cup of pushrods (Figure 2, Item 4) can be withdrawn from ball of adjusters
(Figure 2, Item 2).
C AU T I O N
DO NOT interchange the location or the orientation of used valve bridges. Make a
temporary mark on valve bridges to preserve location and orientation.
5. Remove two valve bridges (Figure 2, Item 5) from four valve springs (Figure 2, Item 6).
