Always inspect the harness connectorsthat are involved in the circuit.
Poor connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical
circuit. Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean and secure,
and that all connections are in good condition. If a problem with a con-
nection is found, correct the problem and verify that this diagnostic code
is Active before performing this procedure.
Perform open or short circuit test ateach harness connection to identify
correct harness to replace.
Perform this test only if condition is Active.
Test Step 1. Verify 2210-04 code is
active.
1. Connect MSD (WP 0006), select
2210-04 Code Active - Proceed to
Implement 120M and check for

Active code 2210-04.
2210-04 Code Not Active -
Troubleshooting complete.
Test Step 2. Test Implement ECM
And Scarifier Lever.
1. Disconnect cab lower harness
connector P-C33 (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 209) from scarifier lever (WP
0009, Figure 210) (WP 0275).
2. Using MSD (WP 0006), select
2210-03 Code Becomes Active -
Implement 120M and check for
Replace scarifier lever (WP 0275).
Active code 2210-03.
Proceed to step 6.
2210-04 Remains Active - Proceed
to step 3.
3. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position (TM 5-3805-293-10).
4. Disconnect harness connector P-
C27 (WP 0009, Figure 74) from
implement ECM J2 (WP 0009,
Figure 75) (WP 0268).
