power supply abnormal voltage,
troubleshoot Trans/chassis 120M
ECM Code 0041-03 or 0041-04 first

Test Step 2. Test for 8 V Power and
Signal Voltage at LH Joystick.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
2. Disconnect the cab lower wiring
harness connector P-C48 (WP
0009, Figure 116) from LH joy-
stick connector J-3 (WP 0009,
Figure 117) (WP 0282).
3. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the ON posi-
tion.
Voltage OK (7.2 to 8.8 Volts) - 8 Volt
voltage between P-C48 (WP
power supply from transmission ECM
0009, Figure 116) terminal 2 and
and cab lower wiring harness OK,
terminal 3 (ground).
proceed to step 5.
Voltage should be 7.2 to 8.8 volts.
Voltage NOT OK - Proceed to Test
Step 3.
Voltage OK (11.8 to 12.3 Volts) -
voltage between P-C48 terminal 1
Sensor signal circuit, transmission

joystick (WP 0282).
Voltage should be 11.8 to 12.3 volts.
Proceed to step 6.
Voltage Not OK - Sensor signal
circuit shorted or transmission or
implement ECM bad, proceed to Test
Step 5.
