Always inspect the harness connectorsthat are involved in the circuit.
Poor connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical
circuit. Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean and secure,
and that all connections are in good condition. If a problem with a con-
nection is found, correct the problem and verify that this diagnostic code
is Active before performing this procedure.
Perform open or short circuit test ateach harness connection to identify
correct harness to replace.
Perform this test only if condition is active.
Test Step 1. Verify if Code 0600-04
is Active.
1. Connect MSD (WP 0006). Select 0600-04 Code Active - Proceed to
Implement 120M and verify 0600- Test Step 2.
04 is active.
0600-04 Code Not Active -
Troubleshooting complete.
Test Step 2. Test Hydraulic Oil Tem-
perature Sensor Circuit.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
2. Disconnect the rear chassis wir-
ing harness connector FA-C6
(WP 0009, Figure 212) from
hydraulic oil temperature sensor
(WP 0059).
3. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the ON posi-
tion.
4. Using MSD (WP 0006), select
0600-04 Code Remains Active -
Implement 120M and check if
Proceed to Test Step 3.
0600-03 becomes active.
0600-03 Code Becomes Active -
Replace hydraulic oil temperature
sensor (WP 0059).
Proceed to step 5.
