nostic code and a warning will appear
on the messenger while the diagnos-
tic code is Active.
N OT E
Always inspect the harness connectorsthat are involved in the circuit.
Poor connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical
circuit. Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean and secure,
and that all connections are in good condition. If a problem with a
connection is found, correct the problem and verify that this diagnostic
code is Active before performing this procedure.
Perform open or short circuit test ateach harness connection to identify
correct harness to replace.
Perform this test only if condition is Active.
Test Step 1. Test G434-BU Hydrau-
lic Oil Temp Signal Circuit Voltage.
1. Connect MSD (WP 0006). Select
All Wheel Drive 120M and verify
0600-03 is active.
2. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
3. Disconnect filter bypass, pump
drive solenoid AC-C2 harness
connector (WP 0009, Figure 76)
from AWD hydraulic temperature
sensor connector (WP 0009, Fig-
ure 77).
4. Turn battery disconnect switch
and ignition switch to the ON posi-
tion.
