Do not allow cable endsto contact each other.To prevent personal injury, neverconnect a 24 volt booster chargeacross a single 12 volt battery, thiscan cause an explosion.1.Turn OFF the disconnect switch.2.Attach positive (+) jumper cable to the positivebattery terminal which is connected directly to the startersolenoid, (this cable should be, and normally is, red).Attach the opposite end of positive (+) cable to thepositive (+) terminal of external starting source.3.Attach negative (-) jumper cable to the negativebattery terminal of the battery which is connected to thedisconnect switch (this will be the battery opposite thebattery connected to the starter solenoid). Attach theopposite end of the negative (-) cable to the negative (-)terminal of the external starting source.4.Turn the disconnect switch ON and start theengine. Remove the jumper cables in the reverse orderthat they were attached.41
