Moving and Stopping the Machine
NOTICE
To prevent possible damage to the machine, reduce
ground speed before downshifting.
11.
Downshift one gear at a time When downshifting
under a load, increase the engine speed to match the
ratio of the lower gear speed.
12.
To change the direction of travel, stop the
machine using the service brake Move the transmission
control lever to NEUTRAL, then to the direction and gear
desired
Speed and directional changes at full engine speed are
possible. However, for operator comfort and maximum
service life of power train components, the modulator
pedal and/or service brake can be used when first
moving the machine or when making directional
changes.
To temporarily decrease the engine speed, depress the
decelerator
or release the accelerator
To
increase the engine speed, depress the accelerator
pedal or release the decelerator.
To set, increase or decrease the engine speed, move the
governor control lever as necessary.
