TM 5-3805-261-34ENGINE MAINTENANCE.3-4.Engine.(Sheet 9 of 13)INSTALLATION6.Inspect shim(s) (64, Figure 3-9)for proper alignment.7.Remove hoist and sling.8.Install four lockwashers (63)and bolts (62) loosely intrunnion and frame on left andrights sides of lower, front ofengine.9.Install two of 12 lockwashers(35) and bolt(34, Figure 3-10)in two top mounting holes ofengine-to-transmission adapter,securing adapter to engine.10.Align engine.11.After proper alignment has beenmade, tighten four bolts (62) to150 ft-lb torque.12.Install four washers (61) andscrews (60).13.Position two new preformedpacking (59) and hose assemblies(58) on transmission oil cooler.14.Install four washers (57) andbolts (56).Go to Sheet 103-25Figure 3-10.
