Hydraulic oil is very slippery. Immediately wipe up any spills. Failure to follow this warning
may result in injury to personnel.
N OT E
Tag and mark hoses to aid in installation.
Cap all lines to prevent contamination.
1. Disconnect two lines (Figure 1, Item 4) from cylinder (Figure 1, Item 5).
2. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 1), spacer plate (Figure 1, Item 2), pin (Figure 1, Item 3), and cylinder (Figure
1, Item 5) from bracket (Figure 1, Item 10).
3. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 8) spacer plate (Figure 1, Item 7), pin (Figure 1, Item 9), and cylinder (Figure
1, Item 5) from lift arm (Figure 1, Item 6).

assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to

Scarifier cylinder weighs approximately 60 lb (27 kg).
