N OT E
Scarifier cylinder weighs approximately 60 lb (27 kg).
1. Install cylinder (Figure 3, Item 5) in bracket (Figure 3, Item 10).
2. Install pin (Figure 3, Item 3), spacer plate (Figure 3, Item 2) and two bolts (Figure 3, Item 1) in bracket (Figure
3, Item 10).
3. Connect two lines (Figure 3, Item 4) to cylinder (Figure 3, Item 5).
4. Start machine (TM 5-3805-293-10) and align end of cylinder (Figure 3, Item 5) with lifting arm (Figure 3,
Item 6).
5. Install pin (Figure 3, Item 9), spacer plate (Figure 3, Item 7), and two bolts (Figure 3, Item 8) in lift arm (Figure
3, Item 6).
