Use extreme caution when positioning centershift cylinder and blade lift cylinders. Provide
adequate support and use assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is
in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of centershift cylinder blade lift
cylinders as it is extended into position. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or
death to personnel.
38. Start machine, extend centershift cylinder into position, and stop engine (TM 5-3805-293-10).
39. Install two inserts (Figure 44, Item 2), shims (Figure 44, Item 3), cap (Figure 44, Item 4), two washers
(Figure 44, Item 5), and bolts (Figure 44, Item 6) on centershift cylinder (Figure 44, Item 1).
