Tag and mark position of spring to aid in assembly.
5. Remove spring (Figure 8, Item 2) from slide plate (Figure 8, Item 3) and seat pan (Figure 8, Item 1).

6. Remove two push washers (Figure 9, Item 4), rod (Figure 9, Item 1), and four nylon bushings (Figure 9, Item 3)
from seat pan (Figure 9, Item 2). Discard push washers.
7. Pull seat pan (Figure 9, Item 2) forward, then up, and remove from slide plate (Figure 9, Item 5).
