Care must be taken to ensure that fluids ae contained during performance of inspection,
r
maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of product. Be prepared to collect fluid with
suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component
containing fluids.
Perform this procedure for one brake at a time.
If brake pedal is spongy during first hoursof operation, perform this procedure again.
1. Park machine on hard, level surface (TM 5-3805-293-10).
2. Remove two bolts (Figure 66, Item 2), washers (Figure 66, Item 3) and cover (Figure 66, Item 1) from service
brake (Figure 66, Item 4).
