Test Step 3. Test for Shorted Rear
Chassis Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
2. Disconnect rear chassis wiring
FA-C23 harness connector (WP
0009, Figure 17) from cab lower
wiring P-C71 harness connector
3. Disconnect rear chassis wiring
FA-C35 harness connector (WP
0009, Figure 15) from cab lower
wiring P-C70 harness connector
4. Turn battery disconnect switch
and ignition switch to the ON posi-
tion.
5. Check for Active code 0600-03 or
Code 0600-04 Remains Active - Pro-
0600-04 in All Wheel Drive 120M
ceed to Test Step 4.
Code 0600-04 Becomes Inactive
and 0600-03 Becomes Active -
Replace rear chassis wiring harness
(WP 0188).
on AWD hydraulic temperature sensor
Proceed to step 6.
0600-04 Code Active - Repeat trou-
All Wheel Drive 120M and verify
bleshooting code from the beginning.
0600-04 is not active.
0600-04 Code Not Active - Trouble-
shooting complete.
Test Step 4. Test G434-BU Hydrau-
lic Oil Temp Signal Circuit for Short
to Other AWD Circuits in Cab
Lower Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
