49. Turn the hub and cage over. Install two
locks (79) and four bolts (78) that hold the
hub to the cage. Bend the locks against the
bolts. Install the cage and hub (74) in hub
(61).
50. Install fourteen washers and bolts (77) that
hold the hub (74) to ring gear (64). Tighten
bolts (77) to a torque of 38 ± 2 lb. ft. (5.3 ±
0.3 mkg).
51. Install two 5/8”-11 NC forged eyebolts in
housing (80). Install the two large O-ring
seals on housing (80).
52. Fasten a hoist to the eyebolts. Put the
housing in position over the dowels. Install
the springs and plungers (81) before the
housing is completely installed.
53. Install twelve washers and bolts (82). Tight-
en the bolts to a torque of 85 ± 5 lb. ft.
(11.8 ± 0.7 mkg).
54. Install three O-ring seals (83) on the face of
the housing.
