Lift the transmission with a hoist and put itin position in the transmission case.56. Remove the hoist and the two eyebolts.Install the bolts that hold the transmissionin the case.57. Install two 1/2”-13 NC forged eyebolts andtwo nuts in the transmission case on top ofthe output flange. Install a strap around thetransmission case and through the twoeyebolts.58. Fasten tooling (D) to the transmission case.Turn the transmission so it is in an upposition.59. Put cover (7) in position on the transmis-sion case. Put the transmission in positionon tooling (E). Install the bolts that holdthe transmission to tool (E).60. Remove tooling (D) and the straps. Installthe sleeves in the transmission case.2-104
