POWER TRAINDISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY61.62.63.64.65.66.67.68.69.70.TRANSMISSIONInstall a 3/8”-16 NC forged eyebolt in thecover for the transfer gears as shown.Install tooling (G) in the eyebolt.Install tooling (F) on the transmission andon the transmission hydraulic control valvesas shown. Connect tooling (G) to tooling(F) on the control valves.Put transmission hydraulic control valves(84) in position on the transmission.Install bolts (85) and bolts (87) that holdthe transmission hydraulic control valves tothe transmission. Tighten the bolts to atorque of 35 ± 3 lb. ft. (4.8 ± 0.4 mkg).Push four sleeves (86) into their correctlocations in the control valves.Install plates (89) in their correct locationsin the grooves of sleeves (86). Install bolts(88) that hold the sleeves and the plates.Tighten bolts (88) to a torque of 22 ± 3 lb.ft. (3.0 ± 0.4 mkg).Put links (90) in position in stems (91) forthe control valves. Tighten the links.Put the gasket and cover (93) in position onthe side of the transmission.Install bolts (92) that hold the cover to thetransmission.end by:a) install transmissionTM 5-3805-263-14&P-22-105
