TRANSMISSION OIL AND SCAVENGE PUMP
REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL AND
SCAVENGE PUMP
1. Loosen bolts (1) and slide the alternator to
loosen the fan belts. Remove the fan belts
from the pulley on the transmission oil
pump.
2. Remove bolts (2) that hold plate (3) to the
radiator guard. Remove plate (3).

Remove bolts (4) and the lockwashers that
hold four oil lines (5) to the transmission oil
pump.
Remove bolts (6) and the lockwashers that
hold four oil lines (5) to their locations on
the transmission. Remove four oil lines (5).
Put a floor jack and block (9) in position
under the oil pump.
Remove bolts (7) that hold the oil pump to
the transmission.
Move the transmission oil and scavenge
pump away from the dowels on the trans-
mission.
Turn the pump so it can be removed out the
bottom of the machine. Lower transmission
oil and scavenge pump (8) away from the
transmission and remove it. Weight is 76 lb.
(34.5 kg).
