POWER TRAINDISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLYTM 5-3805-263-14&P-2TRANSMISSION OIL AND SCAVENGE PUMPREMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL ANDSCAVENGE PUMP1. Loosen bolts (1) and slide the alternator toloosen the fan belts. Remove the fan beltsfrom the pulley on the transmission oilpump.2. Remove bolts (2) that hold plate (3) to theradiator guard. Remove plate (3).3.4.5.6.7.8.Remove bolts (4) and the lockwashers thathold four oil lines (5) to the transmission oilpump.Remove bolts (6) and the lockwashers thathold four oil lines (5) to their locations onthe transmission. Remove four oil lines (5).Put a floor jack and block (9) in positionunder the oil pump.Remove bolts (7) that hold the oil pump tothe transmission.Move the transmission oil and scavengepump away from the dowels on the trans-mission.Turn the pump so it can be removed out thebottom of the machine. Lower transmissionoil and scavenge pump (8) away from thetransmission and remove it. Weight is 76 lb.(34.5 kg).2-67
