Remove the plug at the bottom of oil filter(3) and drain the oil from the filter. Replacethe plug. Remove the filter from the filterbase.2. Remove bolts (1) that hold the base to thetransmission. Remove transmission oil filterbase (2).INSTALL TRANSMISSION OIL FILTERBASE1. Put transmission oil filter base (1) in posi-tion on the transmission. Install the boltsthat hold the base to the transmission.2. Install the oil filter on the oil filter base.REMOVE RELIEF CONTROL VALVE1. Put identification on oil lines (2) as to theirlocation on the relief control valve. Removeoil lines (2) from the valve.2. Remove bolts (1) that hold the valve to thetransmission. Remove relief control valve(3).INSTALL RELIEF CONTROL VALVE1. Put relief control valve (1) in position onthe transmission. Install the bolts that holdthe valve to the transmission.2. Connect the two oil lines to their correctlocations on the relief control valve.2-62
