Put gears (1) and (7) for the scavenge pump
section in position in manifold (6).
Install a seal (8) on each side of manifold
(3). Put gear (4) in position in manifold (3).
Install key (2) in the shaft of gear (4).
Put manifold (3) and gear (4) in position on
manifold (6). Make sure key (2) is in
alignment with the groove (slot) in gear (1).
Install gear (5) through the bearing in
manifold (3) and into gear (7). Gears (4)
and (5) are for the transmission oil pump
section.
Put body (9) in position on manifold (3).
Make sure the dowels in the body are in
alignment with the holes in the manifold.
Put seal (11) in position in cover (10). Put
cover (10) in position on body (9). Make
sure the dowels in the body are in alignment
with the holes in the cover. Install the bolts
that hold the sections of the pump together.
Install the seal in cage (12) with tooling (B).
Install the seal with the lip toward the
inside of the cage.
Install bearing (13) in cage (12).
Put coupling (15) in position in the bearing
and the cage. Install the spiral snap ring that
holds the coupling in the cage.
Install bolts (16) that hold the cage to the
pump.
Put pulley (14) in position on coupling
(15). Install the bolts that hold the pulley
to the coupling.
