Push down on end (3) against the resistance ofthe spring for the valve spool. Make anadjustment to end (3) until the hole in the endis in alignment with the hole in lever (4).CABLE FOR MANUAL MODULATION VALVE3. End. 4. Lever.4. Install the lockwasher and bolt in end (3) andlever (4). Remove block (1).5. Make an adjustment to screw (5) until it is allPEDAL FOR MANUAL MODULATION VALVEof the way down.5. Screw. 6. Keep allpersonnel away from the working area and let onlyone person on the machine.WARNING: This part of the adjustmentprocedure must be done with the axles6. Install the axles and start the engine.7. Hold down on pedal (6) and put selector leverin FIRST FORWARD.8.9.10.Slowly release the pedal until the wheels startto turn. Make an adjustment to screw (5) untilit comes in contact with pedal (6) in thisposition. Tighten the locknut.Put the selector lever in NEUTRAL-FOR-WARD and turn screw (5) in one turn. Tightenthe locknut.Push down on pedal (6) and put the selectorlever in all FORWARD and REVERSE speeds.If the machine begins to move in any speed,loosen the locknut and turn screw (5) in onemore turn.2-39
