TM 5-3805-263-14&P-1SECTION 2SECTIONALIZATIONThis document contains the procedures required tosectionalize the Type II 130G Motor Grader to make itready for helicopter slinging.The procedures include:DISASSEMBLY - separation into two sectionsDRIVING - operating the rear sectionR EASSEMBLY - reconnecting the two sectionsPERSONNEL AND TOOLS REQUIREDThe sectionalization of Type II machines can beaccomplished by two people using the special tools andequipment provided with the machine, plus standardhand tools. Another person may expedite some of theprocedures where noted. Disassembly and immediatereassembly can be completed in approximately 4 hours.NOTETo avoid confusion and possible equipmentdamage or personal injury, one person mustbe deligated as the crew leadar forsectionalization.
