TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION
TROUBLESHOOTING METHODS
Most of the connections between the harnesses on
the motor graders are made with rubber "Sure Seal"
connectors or with plastic "bullet" connectors. If these
connections are not tight, they can be the cause of
electrical problems, either permanent or intermit-tent
(come and go). Make sure the connections are tight
before other tests are made.
The 5P7277 Voltage Tester can be used to test a
circuit for voltage. The 8S4627 Circuit Tester can be
used to test circuits without voltage for continuity.
The 6V3030 Digital Multimeter can be used to test
circuits for voltage or continuity. It can also be used to

Two colors divided by a line are an indication of a
wire with a stripe (one color with a line along it of another
color). R/LT GR is a red wire with a light green stripe.
