SUPPLEMENTAL STEERING SYSTEM
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING
(SUPPLEMENTAL STEERING)
Do items 1, 2, and 3 as outlined in the General Test Procedure.
If the system performs as noted, go to Table For Section 11. If the
system does not perform as noted, go to Table For Section I.

operate.

EMS steering LED and master fault light flashes
until engine starts then goes OFF; motor status
light and motor DO NOT run.

EMS steering LED does not flash during three
second power up test.

Motor status light ON; pump motor runs continu-
ously (constantly) when disconnect switch is ON.

Motor status light ON and pump motor runs con-
tinuously until engine starts.

EMS steering LED and master fault light flashes
until engine starts, then goes OFF; motor operates
for three seconds, but status light does not turn ON.
7
EMS steering LED and EMS master fault light does
not stop flashing after engine starts. Warning horn
on when engine is running, but motor status light
and motor are OFF.
