Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to per-
sonnel.
NOTE
Drag link and spindle assembly weighs
415 lb (188 kg).

Attach sling to drag link and spindle assembly (30).

Position drag link and spindle assembly (30) on wheel lean arm.

Lower temperature of two pins (27) to aid in installa-

tion.
NOTE
SLING
Ensure grooves in two pins are in align-
ment with openings in housing.
9.
Use assembled puller assembly, pump group, two legs,

puller assembly, bearing puller assembly, and six spac-
ers to install two pins (27).
10.
Install two washers (29) and bolts (28).
11.
Remove sling.
