REMOVAL - CONTINUED
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use assistance during proce-
dure. Ensure that any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load capacity. Keep clear of
heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this warning may cause injury or death to per-
sonnel.
NOTE
Blade assembly weighs 1,500 lb (680 kg).
12.
With assistance, attach sling to two link brackets on
blade assembly (2).
SLING
13.
Remove blade assembly (2). Operate blade sideshift
LINK BRACKETS
control and extend cylinder rod (19) to push blade

assembly away from circle (20).
14.
Stop engine.
15.
Remove sling and two link brackets.

Remove 40 bolts (23), washers (24), 10 plates (25), 5
strips (22), and shim(s) (21).
