Starting Motor Lead. (Sheet 2 of 3)
REMOVAL
1.
Remove bolt (1, Figure 7-201) from fuel
injection mounting support on right engine
block.
NOTE
All
wire,
cable
and
harness
assemblies must be tagged before
disconnecting to aid in installation.
2.
Disconnect
wire
assembly
(5)
from
mounting support.
3.
Remove lockwasher (2).
4.
Remove nut (3) and washer (4) from
starting motor.
5.
Disconnect wire assembly (5) from starting
motor.
6.
Remove wire assembly (5).
CLEANING
Clean all parts. Refer to Chapter 2.
INSPECTION
Inspect all parts. Refer to Chapter 2.
