Blackout Stop and Taillights. (Sheet 2 of 4)
REMOVAL
NOTE
The following is a maintenance
procedure
for
the
right
rear
blackout stop and taillights. The
maintenance procedure for the left
rear blackout stop and taillights is
identical.
1.
Open side screen door. Refer to
paragraph 6-49, steps 1 and 2.
NOTE
All
wire,
cable
and
harness
assemblies must be tagged before
disconnecting to aid in installation.
2.
Disconnect
two
wire
assemblies
(1,
Figure 7-127) at connectors, from main
wiring harness in engine compartment.
3.
Remove grommet (2, Figure 7-128).
4.
Remove two bolts (3), lockwashers (4)
and items 8 thru 18 as an assembly.
5.
Remove two bolts (5), washers (6) and
bracket (7).
