Tightenan additional 3/4 turn.7.Lubricate bore of base (13) with cleandiesel fuel.8.Install new preformed packing (4) andelbow (3) loosely.9.Install elbow (2).10.Tighten elbow (3).11.Install tube assembly (1).12.Install fuel pressure switch. Refer toparagraph 7-94.13.Turn priming pump knob on rear, right sideof fuel tank counter-clockwise to releasepump knob.14.Pump until pressure makes knob hard topump.15.Turn knob clockwise to lock in place.16.Turn fuel injection pump valve on rear, rightside of engine counterclockwise to openallowing air to release thru hose outlet atlower part of engine.
