Turbocharger Oil Lines. (Sheet 2 of 4)
REMOVAL
1.
Remove two nuts (1), four washers (2),
two bolts (3) and four clips (4, Figure
6-22) from right side of engine.
2.
Remove bolts (5 and 6) from top of
turbocharger.
NOTE
All hose and tube assemblies must
be tagged before disconnecting to
aid in installation. Cap all hose and
tube ends and plug all open oil ports
to prevent contamination.
3.
Disconnect tube assembly (7) nut from
connector (11, Figure 6-23) under
injection pump support.
4.
Remove cotter pin (8) and pin (9) from
throttle linkage.
5.
Remove tube assembly (7) and gasket
(10) from vehicle. Discard gasket (10)
and remove all gasket material from
mounting surfaces.
6.
Remove
connector
(11)
and
pre-
formed packing (12) from injection
pump support. Discard preformed
packing (12).
7.
Remove two bolts (13, Figure 6-24)
from under turbocharger.
NOTE
Remove items 14 thru 19 as an
assembly then disassemble.
