Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
C AU T I O N
All surrounding surfaces on the drawbar must be clean before installing circle drive and
sprocket. Failure to follow this caution may damage duo-cone seals and cause leaks.
N OT E
Circle drive weighs 280 lb (127 kg).
Sprocket must be in place before lowering circle drive on machine.
Align splines on sprocket and circle drive shaft to aid in installation.
5. Install three lifting brackets (Figure 8, Item 5) and bolts (Figure 8, Item 4) on circle drive (Figure 8, Item 1).
6. Attach sling and lifting device to circle drive (Figure 8, Item 1).
7. Using lifting device, install thrust washer (Figure 8, Item 2), sprocket (Figure 8, Item 3), and circle drive
(Figure 8, Item 1) on machine.
8. Remove lifting device, sling, three bolts (Figure 8, Item 4), and lifting brackets (Figure 8, Item 5) from circle
drive (Figure 8, Item 1).
