C AU T I O N
Inspect bottom moldboard wearstrips before moldboard installation to ensure wearstrips
are in good condition and properly installed. Failure to follow this caution may result in
damage to equipment.
1. Attach two slings, link bracket, and lifting devices to blade.
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Blade weighs 2,000 lb (907 kg).
2. Using lifting devices, position blade on circle assembly.
3. Attach chain hoist (Figure 6, Item 1) to blade (Figure 6, Item 3).
4. Using chain hoist (Figure 6, Item 1), pull blade (Figure 6, Item 3) halfway into circle assembly (Figure 6,
Item 2).
